About LuzIA: a story that teaches Artificial Intelligence to the little ones
LuzIA in search of my companion dogs is an illustrated children's book that introduces children to the world of Artificial Intelligence in a simple, fun and emotional way. The story follows Martín, Inés and Alba —three siblings who, together with their Grandpa José and a little robot named LuzIA, live an adventure at the beach to find their lost dogs: Pluto, Bimba and Mía.
The official website of the story is an immersive extension of the book: a space where families and educators can explore the characters, discover how AI learns step by step, download free educational resources and learn about the charitable purpose behind the project. Each section is designed so children can understand concepts like observation, comparison, trial-and-error and teamwork, all wrapped in a warm and accessible narrative.
This platform is designed for families with children who want to bring technology closer without losing the magic of childhood, and for educators and teachers looking for educational resources to explain AI in the classroom in an accessible way. Here you'll find downloadable activities, guides, an interactive game and a gallery with real scenes from the story.
Behind LuzIA is Ana Belén Rueda: mother of Martín, Inés and Alba, computer engineer, AI specialist and teacher. Inspired by her children, her dogs and her father, she created this adventure to bring technology closer to new generations in a human way. The book is also a tribute to her father, Grandpa José, and is born with the vocation of one day contributing to the fight against cancer.
